The critics and doomsayers are going to demand answers for why the Gophers didn't get a sweep this weekend. However the Gophers picked up 3 points against a decent team at home (one that has won against a couple decent teams and almost beat the Sioux) on a long road trip. The boys should be happy with that. Nearly a perfect weekend. I personally got to witness all the dejected UND fans get blown out at SCSU. See yah at Mariucci!

They have reversed their pattern from last season and are laying down stinkers on Saturdays instead Fridays. They won't win the conference if they continue playing like this.

People, the best part of the series is taking 3 of 4 points on the road. I dont care if they played badly or it was close. These series in Alaska are tough road trips. Good job, come back to the United States and let's keep it going to a WCHA title and NCAA title.

So wisstinks4 - I agree totally with your sentiment - but when did Alaska withdraw from the United States?

Expectations for the Gophers hockey team continues to decline. The Gophers will finish about mid pack in the WCHA this year. Clearly at this point, because of their roster on paper, they are overrated. Based on results this team wouldn't even crack the Top10. The good news? They will play in the BIG10 next year and play hockey powerhouses like Iowa State, Penn State, who else is going to be in that league? haha.

There's the UND fan. Remind me how many points The UND won when they played the Seawolves at HOME? Oh and how was last night for the UND at SCSU? What was it 5-2?
