Now, if somebody could just get the message to Mitch McConnell, who continues to spew the same old crap, refuses to talk with the president and just generally behaves as though the American people have not spoken clearly condeming the teapub tactics of the last two years.

Wait a minute...is this the same John Boehner who held out an olive branch right after the election the pulled it back the next day saying 'any increase in taxes is not on the table.? Is that the spirit of compromise? Well, at least it is better than McConnell who on election night said that Obama needs to propose legislation to the House that represents Republican values. Sounds a lot like "I'm sorry, but..."

Allowing the tax cuts to expire and all the spending cuts to take place immediately in 2013 will throw the nation back into recession. ALL economists agree on that. Congress doesn't DARE let that happen. Not if they want to have a snow balls chance of reelection in 2014.

Worse than dealing with a 3 year old.
