What a ragged win!! My hats off to the players for gutting it out but it should never have been that close. It looks as if Johnson and Mullany have already reserved spots in the Borton doghouse since neither of them saw more than a token's time on the floor. Then to hear Borton talk about how she's been waiting for Riche to blossom, as if she had done anything over the past two years to develop her!! I hope this team continues to win just to spite her.

Goodness - if the Gophers play anywhere near this poorly in the game against 'Nova they are going to lose by 20 today. On the plus side, it looks like Banham and Riche are developing into the kind of weapons I thought they would be this year. Help anybody? If this team doesn't develop any other scoring threats on the floor it's going to be a long season. These two can't account for 75% of the scoring every night. Throw in Cotton's 10 pts and you get a total of 14 from the other six players. That's not going to get it done, ladies.
