My analogy on why the DFL Super Pacs succeeded and the GOP super pacs failed: The DFL super pacs were backed by tens of thousands of union members' hard earned money. those folks became boots on the ground to help their candidates win. The GOP super pacs were funded by a few dozen super rich folks who tried to get even richer by purchasing the election. No boots on the ground. The people have spoken. Maybe citizens united is not as dangerous as I thought it would be.....

Of course the unions are involved in this. The mob is blood thirsty for other people's property.

The mob is blood thirsty for other people's property. ------------------------- Soooooo, any organized labor, in your bubble anyway, is "the mob". The nurses who take care of those you love, the teachers who teach your kids, the people who pick up your garbage, and safely fly the planes you travel in. All part of some vast, criminal empire. What a sad, lonely, and bitter place your world must be.

Is it liberal or conservative to think that it's desirable for 10% of the population to own 85% of the country's income producing assets? I can't think of any idea more liberal, unless it would be for 10% of men to have 85% of wives. And that is why it is a conservative idea that we need unions; just as it is conservative to believe in having one wife.
