The backcourt took another hit, but Chase Budinger made good in his role as last-second hero.

Killer game, Wolves. I concur with a post from the other day: Once Love and Rubio get back this team is going to be dynamite. Gotta love the fight and character of this team without 'em though.

They may play with an assortment of players, it may be ugly from time to time, but this team is 4-1, folks! It's hard to follow my Wolves from my home in Florida, but I've got Dec 17th circled on my calendar already. That's the night I can go to Orlando to watch my Wolves play in person!!

Kahn's best move was hiring Rick Adelman, then taking Adelman's advice on which players to acquire. Right now, they are a very entertaining team to watch.

Not a good omen for Roy with knee pain already...

I heard Roy smacked knees w/someone again, same one he smacked in practice last week and its just sore. however, probably out the next two games. I hope Barea can come back against the Bulls.

This Shved kid is 'Dy-no-mite!' He's like Rubio with an outside shot. Can't wait for Love/Rubio to get back on the floor.

What a complete joy it is to see a guard who has a natural feel for the game. Shved has as good a feel for the game as Rubio, does not turn the ball over as much as Rubio, has a pure shot, can finish at the basket... Wow! Not sure why Adelman took him out at the 1:06 mark, but, thankfully, he put him back in.

It's great to be able to watch a group of professionals play a professional game. Kudo's to the team concept and team defense. It's so refreshing to see the ball move on offense with this group.

snoozecruise: i agree, Shved is coming along nicely and much faster than i thought he would. however, i have no doubt that if played mpg similar to Rubio's last year his TO's/g would be much higher than they currently are. That was my hang-up with him in the Olympics, i knew he could play, but was very inconsistent. stellar play/game but then horrible for stretches as well. I'm pretty sure Adelman took him out for defense w/such a close game, its a bad match-up for us, a rookie on one of the pacers guards just begs for a whistle.
