Greedy owners/management are ruining everything.

erikj3, how can you say the owners/management are ruining everything. If in fact Fehr isn't telling the players the truth about the negotiations he is the fault here, not the owners. How can Fehr expect full payment on contracts for a partial season? Fehr is ruining a game he doesn't even care about. He needs to be replaced for this to get done.

Didn't 99% of the hockey world predict a lockout when the players hired Donald Fehr? Why is this so hard when the players to see? The owners are prepared to cancel the season. The players will never recover that money. Simple Econ 101 boys

Hey, at least the Timberwolves are off to a hot start!! It's nice to see a hometown winter sports team doing well! I'd love to watch hockey, but in the mean time, I'm enjoying watching the Wolves.

So this is what St. Paul built an arena for and subsidized an NHL team for? To have it not do anything? I sure am glad that we felt all of that anxiety until replacing the North Stars!! What a freaking joke. Parise will be traded before he even skates for the Minnesota Dull.

It's time for the players to stand up to Donald Fehr and accept this offer. If 50/50 and full payment is what they want, here's. their deal. And while I generally support the players, they don't deserve full season pay for not a full season of work. The arena janitor isn't getting paid. Nor are the ticket takers, the condensation stand operators or the local businesses who depend on hockey. Take the deal, accept pro-rated pay, and drop the damn puck.

Doesn't matter... The NHL should have thought twice before selling out on our Minnesota North Stars history and tradition... I'm finally over it. I wish I cared more about the current state of the NHL but I don't and it will NEVER be the same...
