When will the front office take accountability for 'totally blowing' the wide receiver roster aside from Harvin. They want Ponder to 'be' the man and only hand off to Peterson and throw screens to Harvin. Come on Craig and Werder, nail the pro personnel dept. for giving Frazier a college roster of receivers. Bud Grant used to say its a business of winning and nothing else!

Don't expect much from Wright. He couldn't even crack the worst wide-out line-up in the NFL until week 12. Spielman is completely responsible for making zero improvements to what was the worst group in 2011.

It's an insult to the local beat writer to call him Werder. It's Wiederer. Werder is the ESPN hack.

Anyone still on Ponder for not doing good? Well who could do good when his receivers are pathetic. Carlson has done nothing and I figured he wouldn't do anything. Always hurt. We all knew this is still a rebuilding year and next year if we are in position to draft a star receiver we better not draft another Williamson. The Vikings better sign a couple star wide receivers in free agency and not a couple has beens. If they would have done that this year which I have been saying ever since the draft the Vikings could have competed for the playoffs this year. Our receivers are no better than last year. And Harvin was due to get injured. Too bad the Speilman didn't get any receivers. I am amazed at Petersons running. I figured he would get reinjured when everyone is still stacking the box. He has lost a step in speed. He gets run down from behind alot. We just need to hope Peterson makes it through this year and hope that Speilman figures it out , our receivers are big and slow and can be covered easily one on one. I wanted us to compete and play close games this year but just barely lose but look good. So far so good. We won to many games so far to get the top pick, but I hope we end up with the 2nd pick or 3rd at worst. Do not blame Ponder for being so bad lately . Just watch our receivers and see how covered they are. How they give up on routes and don't come back when Ponder is in trouble. Jenkins I watched him alot and he gives up alot. Aromadusu is scared to get hit .

Dont get me wrong Peterson is amazing I just don't want him to waste his efforts this year and get injured and career over. If the Vikings get 2 star receivers or would have this year our offense would have been amazing. They could not stack the box and Peterson would run wild. Just like the 98 team. With Moss Carter and Reed . Robert Smith could run wild too. Johnson or Cunningham had career years. No team can cover 3 great wide receivers and contain the run also. The Vikings offense could have been awsome this year had Ponder had 2 great wide receivers to go along with Peterson. The Vikings the next year after they lost Jake Reed and only had 2 great wide reciever and Smith retired were not unstoppable. So that only goes to show you if you have only 2 great receivers the defense can cover 2. But covering 3 is impossible. The 98 team was so awesome. So many deep passes. The Vikings have no deep threats. Only Harvin but he is more of a slot receiver. I knew going into this season we didn't improve at all at wide reciever and they haven't proved me wrong.

Also if the Vikings get 2 star receivers this year or next. The offensive line would improve immensely . No more stacking the box. So the line wouldn't have to take on double teams as much. Having a couple deep threats would carry the dbacks back away from the line. Thus giving Ponder more time and Peterson more wide open holes. Oh how the Vikings screwed up and didn't go out and get the star receivers this year!!!!!!!

Nobody needs to worry about the Vikings this year because they will not make the playoffs and they dont have a QB. Ponder is a WEAK LINK and will never be a good QB. To throw for under 60 yards 2 out of 3 weeks in the NFL is UNHEARD OF! It doesnt happen unless you are an extremely bad QB. Even TJOKE was better than that. Ponder is standing like a frozen statue in the pocket, throws flat footed, doesn't step into throws and has poor footwork all together, has below average arm strength and cat make 10-20 yard throws on a regular basis which is what you have to have in the NFL. So where is his QB coach? He must not have one because he has not made ANY progress and has actually regressed instead of making progress. I went back and watched tape of Favre and was reminded of what a real NFL QB looks like. I guess Ponder only cares now about his little girlfriend and kissing her butt because he sure hasnt been paying any attention to football. I hope you save some money Christian because it's going to be a short ride.........

As far as I am concerned Mr Musgrave can pack his bags along with Mr Ponder. They are BOTH absolutely rotten.
