I disagree with this answer. The man's wife needs to stop harping on care needs unless she is actually going to go there and do it herself. Most Assisted living spaces have a nurse that can help with diet, but ultimately, unless the father has dementia or the sister is completely incompetent, 3 hour phone calls telling them what to do IS harassment.

Invite them both. Either they can be adults and come or they cant. Just make sure you are up front with them about the fact that you invited the other.
