You think he should have been able to keep that secret.......
Very bad for the United States to lose a top military leader over something so relatively unimportant to our national security.
Sounds super fishy to me....
I say it's part of the Benghazi cover up....
poor guy had to go and have an affair to get out from this lying admin....
Once again the Federal government has decided it wants to be involved in and act as judge to our bedroom behavior. As long as the General did his job then why should any of his legal sexual antics reflect on his job performance. Save the moral enforcement for church and take it out of government.
Good riddance. If you can't be true to the oath of marriage, there's not much more sacred than that.
Let's get someone in there that's going to respect civil liberties and abolish drone strikes.
what does an extramarital affair have to do with his fitness to do his job? It shows he is skilled at multitasking.
elle2020, you are 100% correct. this has something to do with Obama's decision to let those people die in the desert of Bengazi. I hope Petreaus has the courage to tell the truth about what Obama knew and when he knew it. Obama has something else on Petreaus besides this indiscretion, otherwise this makes no sense.
news broke at 3:00. CNN, MSNBC both cite extra-marital affair from the instant they ran the report. fox? Benghazi conspiracy suggested throughout since. no wonder fox watchers are so uninformed. if the issue weren't so important, it would be entertaining, as fox usually is.
People people......Did you read the article? General Petraeus stepped down.....That was his choice. Why politicize everything? Unless he called you up on the phone and gave you the "low down", leave it alone.
How could the underlying reason possibly be any of my busines? All I need to know is he stepped down. The rest is his personal business.
