Reverse the "grumpy" old man situation. Active senior chipping golf balls into next door neighbors yard. Would the parents say to the teenagers that he won't be around forever, its good for his health and just duck when the balls are flying by? Those "teenagers" should get on their bikes and get to the nearest ball field. They should learn to respect other people's property and privacy. Allowing them to disrupt the man next door only leads to the entitled attitude that is just too common. "It's all about me". Maybe some other adjoining yards with teenagers should be the ball field.

The couple that split and the family is worried about what to do. My fiances wife passed then he was with the same woman for 5 years, a woman that he knew since he was 13. When I visit his mothers house, I do still see pictures of the others up. Not overwhelming but yes they are there as they are part of that family history. It does not make me feel uncomfortable or bug me. I dont know how he feels about it. What his mother has done is put those pics in a collage like frame and they are in the hallway not really seen or in your face. I understand that this was part of thier lives, the mother to their grand children and the woman he was married to.
