Have some pride and stop talking about some 2 Bit Bowl like it's the Super Bowl. Seriously....just stop.....

A bowl game? A real program would turn down a meaningless bowl game that ends up costing them money. Notre Dame turned down a weak bowl game about a decade ago, so it can be done. If they win out then fine, but going 6-6 with this schedule shouldn't qualify them for a bowl.

last time I checked, a victory over lowly Illionois makes the Goofs 2-4 playing teams of a quality a D1 team in the Big Ten conference should play. That is a .333 winning percentage. In what universe is .333 a measure of success? This is a Jim Mora reaction type of an article, right? " Bowl game? don't talk about a bowl game! Are you kidding us ? Bowl game? We just hope to have a 500 Big Ten record for even one year some day !!

Y'all are funny. A win is a win is a win. Coach Kill already has this team on an upward track, and even a low-tier bowl would put an exclamation point on that. Also, any bowl is a reward for a team, especially the seniors, that has gone through a big measure of adversity. No, it isn't the Rose Bowl, although I'm sure you boo-birds would not even think that was enough; but a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
