Mitt Romney: What's his next move?

They predict he will write a book, convinced that the daily diary he kept on the campaign trail would make for a compelling read. They speculate that he will return to the corridors of finance, where his reputation as a savvy chief executive and investor remains unblemished. They suspect that he could take on a major role in the Mormon Church, picking up where he left off two decades ago. In conversations over the past 24 hours, aides and advisers to Mitt Romney have begun turning their attention to an issue that until now they have never had to consider: his next move.

First of all, Ford was not bailed out so quit including them with the two loser car companies. Secondly, Mitt is rich, happy, healthy, has a great family and a great attitude so don't worry about him. He will continue to good for others for the rest of his life and angry liberals will continue to be jealous of him because they know he's a better person than they are.

I continue to believe that the Romneys are completely out of touch with middle and lower economic Americans. But of course that is the trouble with most of the Republican party. They just don't care about most Americans.

He will probably burn his magic undies and find an undated model. Probably in the Cayman Islands.

"His No. 1 priority, so far: establishing a system to organize the 400 resumes of those staff members" ==== I'm sure the women will fit into theeir binders quite nicely.

"He will continue to good for others for the rest of his life and angry liberals will continue to be jealous of him because they know he's a better person than they are." lots of projection going on here. a man the held the electorate with such breathtaking contempt with lies, deceit and outright dishonesty, salient examples include: withheld tax returns and bundlers, core ideological shifts, and mathematically impossible budget proposals. he deserved to lose. however, i hope he learns from his mistakes and makes better of it, as i think he could be useful.

Mitt Romney did not lose the election, all of America did. Everyone who works (those lucky enough to still have a job), invests, or dreams of starting a business has lost as they will be the ones Democrats come after to fund the Democrat vote-buying welfare state ($5 trillion in deficit borrowing and spending in 3 years and 9 months since Obama took office). Children not even born yet have lost as they will be burdened with paying off this Democrat debt. Obama will probably soon propose a new "stimulus" plan which entails annual budget deficits close to $2 trillion per year. Watch.

It must be extremely frustrating and disappointing for him. The American general public has become so ignorant and childlike in their thinking. I'm an independent and am frustrated how people voted to re-elect a president who clearly wasn't the best candidate. Liberals label him as out of touch instead of admiring an intelligent man who created success for himself and others. Somehow, there needs to be a way to shift the overwhelmingly liberal media, hollywood, colleges, music industry, etc to unbiased views. People are lemmings and believe what they see on tv mostly without understanding the facts and making informed decisions.

He will file an amended 2011 return so that he'll get all those tax breaks that he didn't use to get his rate to 15%.

It's going to take a long time to heal, please keep us updated on what path Mitt takes. I think we missed out on the best candidate since Reagan, I am very sorry we did not give him the chance to continue his demonstrated path of success, leadership and compassion. I wish he had spoken more about the stories of compassion that have filled his life of service, but that's not his style and it's hard to fault him for humility. This is truly a man who was right for our time, and we let the Obama campaign depict him as the complete opposite of what he is. We have no one to blame but ourselves. They say time heals all wounds, I am not yet convinced.

A classy, successful, honest, charitable, and man with integrity doesn't belong in politics. There will always be jealous, petty, and unhappy people taking cheap shots at Mitt, at his wife and other productive people in society. Mitt showed many observant young people that you can make a great living through tremendous hard work and being kind. Thank you for restoring faith in success.
