Better yet, who cares what some random poster thinks? All CC wants to do is catch touchdowns. 130 of em.

I think he is still a fan which is cool, but not realistic. How does a slow wide reciever start in the NFL. In the real world, a saleman without a voice cant make it. A fireman without arms cant do that job. How do they get there and make several million and be completely ineffective before they are replaced?

Chris Carter=Capt Obvious. That's some deep analysis there! Never heard no one saying anything like that before.

Receivers are important but you need to have a quarterback who can throw it to them! The best wide receiver in the NFL is 17th in yardage this year because Larry Fitzgerald has no one to throw it to him. Anyone who watched Brett Favre in 2009 understands that an "open" receiver is defined by how small of a window the quarterback can throw it through.

"don't be surprised if the Vikings play more than one game overseas in the coming years". Hey Hartman, what about the game day experience...what about the rich tradition of father and son attending the Vikes game...what about the financial benefit of a home game for all the bars, restaurants and hotels...what about the state income taxes paid by all the players from each team???

I am sick and tired of hearing Sid make up excuses for Ponder. Yes, our wide receivers are not the best in the league (thanks Rick Spielman), but a decent QB can throw into tight spots, can have the arm strength to throw a slant, can have pocket presence. Seems Sid and others want to blame everyone but Ponder. The offensive line, the offensive playcalling. Maybe it is PONDER that is making these folks look bad. He hangs on to the ball too long, he has happy feet, he is inconsistent and largely inaccurate with many of his throws. I strongly believe the Vikings (Rick Spielman and others who have their jobs on the line backing Ponder) are afraid to put in Webb for fear that he will actually be productive. Imagine, if Webb comes in and outplays Ponder, what does that mean for Rick Spielman and the braintrust that moved up in the draft to take Ponder with their first round pick. Nope, Frazier will never put Webb in unless Ponder gets hurt.

@acttwo, you nailed it on the head! Favre made average receivers look like pro-bowlers!

Yup, a long shot. If they don't win this weekend there done. It's that simple. The Packers, Bears twice, Houston we have a problem! Ponder that one.
