Sounds like a great deal to me. But some with greedy interests will have issues.

I would like to say good luck with the effort for Electronic black jack to Running Aces. You might end up in the Supreme court or have your liscense taken away if you continue to fight for this, but it is a stab at something bigger. "Running Aces pushed ahead with its request even though the state Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement division has already ruled that the devices would be illegal to install at a Minnesota racetrack. In a letter dated Oct. 30, the agency concluded that the ShuffleMaster Table Master TMS 300 blackjack tables the park is looking at are considered electronic gambling devices under current law. As such, it would take an act of the Legislature to rewrite the law and legalize them for use anywhere but a tribal casino." If I were the Alcohol and Gambling enforcement agency, I would not be so fast to make that statement without a legal opionion from the courts. The legislation that Governor Dayton signed into law expanding the card rooms ability to offer un-banked card games, left open the possibility that these types of black jack and poker gaming machines might now in fact actually be legal if they are considered virtual reality and mimicking human dealers in nature. It might actually take an act of the legislature to change this back.

Minnesotans are not interested in harness racing. If they were, Canterbury would run them. I see this as a last ditch effort to keep the doors open at Running Aces.
