nocash - - - I admit, this one is pretty good. But how in this world voters in the 6th District could have re-elected Bachmann is "out-of-this-world."

The Strib doesn't like it but the truth is the 6th is filled with the majority of Minnesota's rascists, homophobes, mysoginists, and bigots. And guess what?? They are all republicans. Imagine that common denominator.

Hilarious! She got elected by the hair of her chinny chin chin. Considering she had 10 times the money her lack of victory speech was telling. Sure she went "Wheew!" When the results were known. Cool your jets Michelle.

People in her district must be afraid of the Darth Vader death choke. It seems to me that no one would vote for her unless they were under the threat of such a thing - for themselves and their whole family that is.

Folks, look at Central MN. Romney won handily. The voter ID and marriage amendment won. But Bachmann LOST. The problem with people voting for Michele was not the entire district. I would have thought that Central MN would have been the problem. But the "more urban" elected her all by themselves. Here is from the St. Cloud Times: "First, the majority of voters in Benton, Sherburne and Stearns don’t support her. Democratic challenger Jim Graves beat the three-term incumbent by more than 4,000 votes in those counties. That’s a stunning margin of defeat considering the rock-solid support these counties displayed for other Republican causes. How rock-solid? Mitt Romney beat Obama by 22,384 votes. Residents elected all but one Republican legislator. And the two state amendments passed in each county, earning from 53 percent to 60 percent of all ballots cast. Yet Bachmann lost."

Funny! Except that Darth Vader actually did something with "the force". Michele Bachmann has "the farce".

At a minimum she is a vote to keep checks and balances in our gov't. Without a majority in the U.S. House, the Whitehouse and the Senate would go on an even bigger spending spree --- with YOUR money!!

"At a minimum she is a vote to keep checks and balances in our gov't." Checks and balances between what? Fiction and non-Fiction? Like her making claims that HPV vaccinations give you autism and 100% of doctors and researchers that went to school for medicine and have licenses to practice medicine say this is not true in the slightest? Do we really need to pay someone to travel around the country and tell lies? I am quite sure she will do it for free. We don't need to pay her. We can get someone else (better and honest) to do her job you know.

How long before Bachmann leaves Minnesota and joins other Republican has-beens as a full-time commentator on the real death star (Fox News)? My guess: 2 years.
