U point guard Andre Hollins plays basketball with such exuberance that sometimes you can overlook his inner drive.

Andre provides the Gophers with a top-notch point guard that can play with anyone in the B10 and beyond. He is consistent, plays under control, and makes others better. Look forward to the season.

Andre has had a problem playing Smith's slow paced game, looking to win 60-58. He was the starting point guard at the start of last season and lost his starting position. He was always able to fill it up at the end of the first half and end of games when the team played at a faster pace trying to create a comeback win. His success inner clock and this is difficult to change. in the NIT occurred when the Gophers surprised their fans and the opponents by playing a faster paced offense. Players play best at a certain
