Airline refunds: A matter of shame?

Airlines often bend the rules on nonrefundable airfares when it comes to an illness or death.

The entire airline industry is an obscenity. Delta charges $150 fee to change a ticket. My $225 ticket to Dallas cost an additional $495 to extend the stay one day for business. Ask 100 people on plane what their tickets cost and you would have almost 75 different prices. Can you imagine if your local retailer changed prices once a day and they sometimes went up and at other times they go down? It is a crime.
