You have to love talented aging RockStars. I have been a fan of Steven and his work for years. My enjoyment of his work continues to grow from the Sopranos to Little Steven's Underground radio program and his work with The Boss. It's guys like Steven, with little or nothing to prove professionally but lots to offer artistically, who are happy to take a half step back to support the greater cause - not needing to be "lead" but happy to be part of something that the fans enjoy. If you haven't checked out Little Steven's Under Ground Garage I would encourage you to do so. Sundays on KQRS - Steven will open your ears to new and old music you might not know about or appreciate. Talented aging Rockstars are comfortable in their own skin - Steven Van Zandt is so comfortable with where he is in life "his skin" most feel like a Lay -Z- Boy recliner. It would be fun to hang out with him for an afternoon and shoot the breeze. Really just a cool dude.
