Here we go again. Hello $10.00 per gallon gas. Take another shot at cap and trade, and use Al Gore's new carbon credit currency. More government control - that should help the economy.

We MUST do more on climate change. Get rid of the subsidies to Big Oil. Fund far more research into alternative energies. 35 MPG by 2016 is a start, but it should be 50 MPG. Put people to work upgrading and replacing our infrastructure to make it more efficient. Just a few things that we can do in the next 4 years.

The only way to get to 50 mpg is to make a lighter car. Ask any engineer if he can make you as safe in a crash with half the metal around you. 50 mpg = more deaths on the road.
