The education system in this state is broken; we throw money into the black hole and hope something good comes out the other end. What good does it do to give students computers or the ablility to take on-line tests if there is not parental involvement in the childs education? If there was I would bet most kids wouldn't need these extra tools. As long as the teachers union in this state can dictate whatever policies and funding they want we will continue to lose ground nationally and we won't address the real problems in our schools. Anyone check where we stand lately on education? Not real good and I dont think a "technology levy" is going to help.
