The team will play at TCF Bank Stadium while its new stadium is built, making it an ideal time to play abroad.

Sid, you just said the Vikings have the worst receivers ever. Why don't you ask the question...WHY to Rick Spielman. Once again, Rick Spielman is doing the same thing he did in Miami in ignoring MAJOR positions. Rick Spielman should be fired at the end of this year if we finish LAST, for the THIRD YEAR in a row. Wilf is going to be a laughingstock as owner if he continues to allow this ineptness.

This is a great idea. Perhaps the Wilfs can extort a new stadium in London from the taxpayers of Minnesota and the City of Minneapolis. Are you ready to "come to the table" for this one, Mayor Rybak?

Great job Sid. ESPN reported this a month ago.

I just wish the NFL would stop this Thursday Night Football stuff and the International Game(s) in London. The product of these Thursday night games has diminished as well due to teams not having adequate time to recover from the previous game and lack of adequate time to prepare. So the Vikings will play a week 4 "home" game in London and have a bye week in week 5? That's too early in the season to have a bye week in my opinion and will only hurt the team down the stretch with 12 consecutive games. And if the NFL in Europe was so popular, than why did the NFL Europe league fold several years ago?? If you are going to do International Game(s) in London, than why not send a few teams over there for the preseason. Pick four teams each year to spend part of their preseason in London and they can play a round-robin type of tournament.

Wilfs should pay MN and Mpls for lost revenue for every game they opt to play out of state. How are people not more outraged about this? We pay millions to keep you here, cater to your needs, and then you take a different girl to the prom?

Receivers can't catch the ball if it is not thrown in their vicinity. Blocking has not been good. It seems that Ponder takes one or two hits, gets scared and starts unloading before he checks who is even open. Blocking has not been good since Cory Stringer. Let's go get some offensive linemen and blocking backs and see about a QB that can take a hit and have some patience.

Yeah right! Vikings fans are also "excited" to have their home games taken overseas. Great idea there!
