Here's the math on her expenses/vote: $26000000/180,131 = $144.34 per vote received. The much thriftier Graves: $2000000/175,924 = $11.37 per vote received. An out-of-state breakdown of this might prove more interesting.

Bachmann found out that her popularity is slipping.

Hopefully Bachmann will recognize that her election was not a landslide. She needs to wake up and realize that 50% of the people didn't want her re-elected. That should be a message to her that she needs to improve her representation of the people of Minnesota. She needs to represent the people, not her own needs and desires. _JB

It was a great and historic night in Minnesota last night, with this one exception. When will the voters in the Sixth ever learn???

I tend to vote libertarian in general, but after being gerrymandered into the very tip of Bachmann's district I had to hold my gut and vote for Graves. I'll take intelligence and sincerity that I disagree with any day over a paranoid airhead publicity hound...

raleighmama claims that 50% didn't want her elected. The same could be said about the president...

kdhloretto, the President is well aware that half the county doesn't like him. Thus, the bipartisan tone he struck in his acceptance speech. Very different from the black and white, good versus evil taken on by Bachmann and the increasingly right-wing GOP.
