Colin, as usual you hit this nail on the head. This is a Bond film with more depth than seen even in Fleming's written word. It not only poses the question whether what's new is better than what's old...it meanders back and forth convincingly between the answers. In the end, the "new" Bond becomes the "old" Bond in a very clear and satisfying way.
