As a true conservative, I'm proud to say that I voted for President Obama, who works for Americans. The GOP has spent the last three years doing stuff TO Americans, like trying to take away our new health care reform and trying to give multi-millionaires tax breaks and working against the middle class and against women.
So people who want to play with fire are suprised when they get burned. Even children have to learn this lesson. I guess grown Republicans have yet to learn.
I hope the GOP can get used to having offices across the street again.
How frickin' great! Republican extremists rebuked!!! Big time!!
Repubs went too far - rebuke big time!!!!
Cons ... Your discriminatory constitutional amendments FAILED. In addition, it cost you the majority. Time to retool.
Both Constitutional Amendments will have been defeated. And now the tea party infestation is slowly being purged. This is a good start.
If the courts had not interfered in redistricting, which is the constitutional authority of the majority party, things may have been different.
Well deserved loss by the Repubs. They shut down the government and pushed through divisive social legislation THAT LOST. Oh, and mark my words: Gay marriage will be legal in Minnesota by the 2014 elections.
Republicans brought this on themselves through corruption, extremism and a general unwillingness to work with others to get work done for the state. Removing people like this from office is one of the main purposes of elections.
