I find it hard to believe that Windows 7 would cause a user problems, I have found it to be very stable and fairly easy to use. The main complaint does not involve Microsoft. Many hardware items such as scanners and printers do not have updated drivers for Windows 7, this caused a lot of hardware to be needlessly thrown in the trash.

Windows 8 is garbage. I haven't used it, but I have spoken with a couple people who had evaluation versions. Windows 8 is going to be a huge failure. Microsoft's stock has pretty much stayed at the same level for the past 10 years. Windows XP was the really last great OS they developed. Microsoft is now a has-been software company that is merely trying to follow the herd with their new and childish table-style desktop operating system.
