Perhaps the single most despicable GOP-tactic to tip the election (besides creating inhumanely long lines in FL and OH) is just now coming to light. In Ohio, the Sec. of Suppression, Husted, has had new, untested software installed in the voting machines. A federal lawsuit filed in Ohio yesterday challenges the legality of unverified software that was installed in Ohio's voting machines just before the election. There are strict certification procedures for voting machine software, but Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted, said they weren't necessary in this case because the software patches are merely experimental. This is a legal loophole that might save Husted, who claims that the patch merely reformats the output, making the results easier to tabulate. Democrats simply don't believe him. Given that today is election day, it is not clear what a ruling, even this afternoon, would do. Of course, if the judge rules that the software is illegal and Romney wins the election with Ohio being an essential state, there is no telling what could happen.
Husted also lost a lower court ruling two weeks ago in which he tried to make the new voter ID law in Ohio apply to THIS
election and tried to greatly reduce early voting days. He then took it to SCOTUS and was again unsuccessful. This didn't stop him from one last ploy: he greatly reduced the hours of early voting. If Ohio is the one state tipping the election
toward Romney, it will be heavily contested by countless lawyers.
Why isn't there an article about the culinary union in Nevada who is registering illegals and forcing them to vote for Obama? The strib wouldn't dare publish that.
Oh Yea!!! Here we go. Election decided be January 1, 2013???
Touch screen voting should be outlawed. Paper ballots should be required so that there is a backup and, while machines could be used for a preliminary count, all ballots in all races should be hand counted.
Enjoy your last day, BHO.
What a loser.

We have been holding elections for over 200 years and we still can't get them right?
@ontherecord. It is absolutely true. As well as the black panthers back at it in Philly. An acorn offshoot screading republican registration cards. Chicago voting judges wearing obama clothing. The list goes on and on....
Every election in teh last 12 years has raised significant concern about Ohio, Texas and Florida poll practices. We should have a national standard for national elections, and that standard should include X number of voting booths per 1,000 population, paper ballots as back up, same day registration with a utility bill or photo ID w/address, etc. It is maddening to think that some political hacks are actively working to restrict voting rights or to make it such a pain (long lines) that people run out of time to vote.

Because it's not true?? **** What are you basing a lack of truth on with this issue? it should be fully investigated and people should be thrown in jail if this report is accurate.
