Romney gave it a good shot. He tried, he lied and failed. Like Ann Coulter said "If Republicans don't run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee and Romney will lose."

Actually Mitt has been running for the last 7 years.

He certainly isn't running on truth. He ran out of that many, many years ago.

What exactly did he lie about? I mean surely you do not think President Obama lied when he said he would not run for President in2008 nor do you think he lied when he said he would lower the national debt in 3 years or be a one term president. I mean I do not consider those lies either but me thinks you are only cutting slack to the horse you have in the race. Democrats are not alone in this "lie" fiasco, but you lose a lot of credibility in your posts when you claim a candidate lies when in reality he or she said either what they thought at the time or what people want to hear. Specifically, what did he "lie" about in your mind that is worse than "I will close Gitmo"?

camb24, Good for you! Way to get people out to vote who may not have been able to go on their own. If Romney doesn't win, the America we all know will cease to exist thanks to Obama who clearly doesn't agree with our founding fathers. Get your friends to watch 2016, Obama's America as well. Quite telling.

"Actually Mitt has been running for the last 7 years."..............No, he's been running for 10 years. Ask Mass residents and most have said that after only two years as governor he was already running for president. I guess anyone born on third base assumes he's entitled to whatever he wants?

"What exactly did he lie about? I mean surely you do not think President Obama lied when he said he would not run for President in2008 nor do you think he lied when he said he would lower the national debt in 3 years or be a one term president.".............Allow me to explain that there's a very bit difference between a "lie" and a "promise". A lie is saying something which you know to be factually false. For example, that Obama's shipping Jeep jobs to China or that you didn't support the auto bail out or that Obama's waived welfare to work laws. Those are all bold-faced LIES. Obama's "promise" to cut the deficit or keep the UE rates low were based on his knowledge at that time of the economy and an expectation that the GOP would care more about helping their country than defeating every move he made. The recession was far, far worse than he or any economist knew; the obstructionist Congress agreed from Day One to work against the president and the well-being of the country. Romney's been lying for months, every one of his lies fact-checked. Comparing this to Obama's 2008 campaign promises is ludicrous.

Yeah Mitt, you lied with the best of them. About the only thing you didn't promise is to knock fifty bucks off of the undercoating.
