Two things I've learned about real estate since graduating college: 1) My realtor has told me it's never been a better time to buy a house...which is a load of garbage, this only applies to their commissions. Realtors only care about their commissions and buying/selling a home for the max price 2) "Interest rates have never been this low and they're only going up!" Listen if you really knew that why aren't you trading bonds on Wall Street or working for a real bank?

today is a great time to buy if you don't have to try and sell your existing house...3% interest rates on a 30 year mortgage? unheard of...prices are still deflated...more spending power for consumers; so is it a good time to buy? of course it is. is it the "best" time to buy...who knows...two different things @dlzabz.
