Nice---with Ponder "healthy" he might be able to "pass" for 100 yards against Detroit. I'm pipe dreaming.

Without a down passing threat, throwing to Harvin is it. The opposition also knows that. Harvin will be doubled, tripled, and beat to a pulp...give him a rest, Ponder will get him seriously hurt!

For all you that say these last 2 loses aren't all Ponder's fault. This is unreal. Yes it is all Ponders fault. If he makes reads and audibles and makes quick completions none of this ever happens. If he's able to make plays down field this doesn't happen. If he was able to stand in knowing he's going to get hit and still pass with accuracy the game is much different. The O line is exposed because it became obvious weeks ago that the formula for beating the vikings is to blitz early and often because Ponders accuracy goes in the toilet after the first time he gets hit hard. The guy is scared. I'm not just saying that because I don't like him. Look at him out there! He is scared to get hit hard and hurt. He's smart, athletic, and capable but he's scared of getting hurt. He doesn't have that selfless mentality that makes the good ones stand there till the last second throw a perfect strike only to be blasted by a D linemen but then still having the gumption to get up look that D lineman in the face smiling all the while giving him a congratulatory slap on the rear-end and saying "better luck next time cause I aint going no where". Ah I miss old #4.

Ponder is way overated as a QB and Harvin will never last a season trying to catch the passes from Ponder that puts him in line to get hammered. Frazier never was a decent coach and was turned down 7 times for a head job over the years and then the Vikes turn around and give him the job. Go figure why he is sticking with a loser like Ponder.

I haven't heard any comments from the ole Zigmeister lately, I wonder why that is? He must be planning on his new soccer team for his new stadium.

Harvin is coping with the pain of having a QB who can't throw an accurate swing pass, so he is getting eaten alive.

One of the most valueable players on this team, and one who certainaly cannot afford to be on the sidelines for an extended period of time. I think Harvin should be rested and Wright given a chance to get on the field. I am not going to get into the Ponder start him or bench him debete. He will be given the whole season to show if he is an NFL QB. That is what it is.If there is a player, on the Vikes Offense, whos play has warrented being benched, beyond Ponder, it would be RT Loadholt. His play has regressed since his rookie season. I'm not really sure why the team has not made a move at this position. The reason might be that he is a good run blocker, but his pass protecting skills are not at an NFL level, to say the least. The right side of the team's O-Line has played very poorly. Fusco, you could have an excuse for. But with a veteren like Schwartz behind him, his "Learning curve" needs to be shortend. I watch Ponder on pass plays, and he reminds me of the guy who the Texans picked in the 1st rnd a few years back, Carr. A good QB, that was beaten up to the point of thinking about how not to get killed, instead of what his recievers patterns were, or who his hot reads were goping to be. I am not saying that Ponder is not to blame, but you were in court for murder of an offense, the O-Line would do the same amount of time as Ponder for being an accessory to murder. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harvin didn't get hurt because Ponder hung him out to dry on a bad pass. He simply had his ankle rolled up on while running with the ball and being tackled. Has nothing to do with Ponder. But, on to Sunday...I would go ahead and give AP the ball about 45 times. If he averages 3 yards per carry for every down then we can't be stopped. Other teams already knows he's getting the ball, and he is leading the NFL in rushing. Tell AP that he isn't allowed to be tired. He can rest when the Vikings are on defense, especially since the defense gives up 8 minute drives all the time now.

Harvin will not be back next year as a Viking..he will demand to be released or traded..can you blame him... AP may do the same when his contract is up...
