Better pass another law...oh wait, that doesn't seem to work. Personal responsibility and choice not more laws is what is needed. Wasted resources on it being a first stop violation. 15 people in October...how many died from lack of medical care, hunger or elements related to not having a home or job...storms, crashes that DID include seatbelts...falls in the home...hit by a car crossing the street...you can't save everyone.

Sorry but it's nobody's business but my own if I wear a seat-belt. Get your laws off my body!

Those of you that do not want to wear a seatbelt be sure to NOT use your medical insurance when you are injured in a wreck. Be sure to pay cash so everybody's premimums DON'T go up because of YOUR stupidity.

I wonder how many car accidents were caused by NOT wearing a seat belt? Rather than harass us over seat belts, why devote all that time and energy into the CAUSES of most car accidents; drunk driving, distracted driving, and speeding. Or as I call it, the trifecta of stupidity and selfishness.

Call it evolution in action. Ride without a belt is asking to become extinct.

I feel for the families who have lost a member, but at the same time, this is social Darwinism at its finest.

I think it's nobody's biz if there's a pothole in front of your house. Get your laws off your street and fix that pothole yourself.

Wear your seatbelt in a rollover and odds are you will survive. Ask anyone who works in the E/R or handles auto insurance injury claims. You see lives saved everyday by seatbelts. It's really sad when they could have lived if they would of just taken a second to buckle up.

"Sorry but it's nobody's business but my own if I wear a seat-belt." Uh, yes it is. Without a seat belt, a minor accident could throw you out of your seat and cause you to lose control of your vehicle and cause an even worse accident. So yes, EVERYONE on the road has an interest in keeping you secured in your seat. Duh.

It would be useful to know the number of individuals belted during the same time period.
