My biggest problem with Mitt Romney is that you do not know his true core convictions. He'll tell you exactly what you want to hear in one context and completely contradict himself in another. Although there are things I do not agree with President Obama on, at least I know where he stands and that he is not for sale.

"He'll tell you exactly what you want to hear in one context and completely contradict himself in another..." -- You kidding right? You just described Obama.

palsar wrote "You kidding right" -- Here is a quote from Mitt Romney himself, in an election where he would get more votes if he was pro-choice. "I believe abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice." However, in the republican primary where he needed the die-hard base, he became pro-government-regulation calling for the reversal of Roe v. Wade, calling it “a misguided ruling that was a result of a small group of activist federal judges legislating from the bench.” Even in this election alone, he is constantly shifting positions as the polls react. What will he do once in the White House? I'm affraid to find out!

Fast and Furious, how can anyone support an administration so lawless that it basicly enabled foreign attacks on american territory. You just can't be serious. I pity your disconnect with responsibility and reality.

I think everyone needs to know it's okay to let Obama go. He tried and failed. He had a lot of hurdles in his way, but the fact is the economy is as bad as its ever been. The House and Senate are not going to change. So if we don't change the White House, we will have 4 more years of no growth and mounting debt. Let's agree to move ahead and elect Mitt Romney.

"Fast and Furious, how can anyone support an administration so lawless that it basicly enabled foreign attacks on american territory" -- That tactic began in 2006 in the Bush administration as Operation Wide Receiver (which lost all but 64 of the 474 guns). Although this is a huge failure by the Arizona ATF field office, it was not created by the Obama administation as you stated.

"So we should reward Republicans for their best effort at sabotaging this president?" - First and foremost the democrats and their leader need to be held accountable for their decisions to act against the promise and ethics of the nation. They need to be removed from office at every level, then we can work toward progress again.

"the fact is the economy is as bad as its ever been" -- So, you would go back to before January of 2009, before President Obama took office. We were losing 700,000 jobs per month and the global financial system was ready to colapse. A lot of good people were hurt and some are still hurting as a result of Wall Street's greed. The most recent jobs report shows that some of those most affected are finally getting back into the workforce (or have begun to look again) as the job market has shown continuous improvment for most of Obama's term.

Listen, I know we all would have loved to see Obama succeed. It would have been a great storyline. Unfortunately, that isn't what happened and we must look at moving ahead and making a change. You can't look at it as rewarding the republicans. You have to look as Obama lack the leadership skills to move his ideas ahead. Look how Reagan did it. That's what we need. Not his economic ideas, but his way of working across the aisle.
