Without Springsteen, only a few hundred would have shown up.
I wasn't there, but I'll bet that Springsteen didn't have an argument with an empty chair, the way that Clint Eastwood did at the Republican National Convention. What an embarrassment for the RNC. They should have picked their celebrities (and their candidates) more wisely.
Madison is 34 square miles surrounded by reality.
Did Springsteen lead with "Born in the USA?"
you're right localguy....Bruce had an empty suit to sing to.
Obama was endorsed by Colon Powell and Michael Bloomberg. Romney was endorsed by Chuck Norris and Meatloaf
After 4 years of failed presidency, Obama asks his followers to "exact revenge" with him - say what???
Republicans = sour grapes
Thousands were already there to see Springsteen. So really not a big deal. And one didn't even need a ticket so is this really news? Nope.
"Thousands line up to see Springsteen"......oh, and Obama was there too. Where is the story about 30,000 showing up to see Romney?
