Adrian Peterson rushed for 182 yards and two TDs, but the Vikings did little else on offense.

I feel bad for AP as well as Harvin. They are giving all they have and it is not enough. The passing game is terrible. As a fan, I'm reaching the stage where I'm beginning to wonder if winning some of those early games will hurt the Vikings in the draft. Very frustrating right now.

The Vikings will lose the remaining games on their schedule. Frazier is not the answer for a head coach and Ponder is surely no NFL QB.

As fun as Peterson is to watch, he adds little value as far as wins are concerned. If Christan Ponder could just be an average starting quarterback, he would be more valuable than one of the greatest backs in NFL history.

AP...Thomas managed to tackle you...that is like winning the lottery! one of the greatest to ever play is being short changed by this coaching circus. if the Vikes are in the same mess this time next season: i believe they should seriously think about giving AP a shot at the ring...GO VIKES!!!

I agree that the coaching staff is in over their heads, and one would expect a running team to control time of possession, but the Vikings seem to come up short in that area. I would have liked to see what Webb could have done in the second half. If he gets the same results as Ponder, I would shut up about it, but I would like to see if things would be different. Why not? Why does Ponder have to play the entire game if he just isn't producing?

they should trade Peterson... poor guy. He shouldn't be stuck playing for the Vikes his whole career... he deserves better, if anyone deserves a ring it's that kid. not to mention... we can't win when the guys dominates the football game. We waste his efforts every single week. Just trade Adrian Peterson, he deserves better.

I love Purple Jesus as much as the next disciple, but the defense is full of Judas Iscariot's, they are killing us. Go find 10 DB's the can cover the other team's WR's and bring in a few more big guys to stop the run or we're done!!!

If A.P. continues to waste his talents with the vikings he will go down in history as the RB who had all the lofty numbers but NO Super Bowl ring just like Barry Sanders did with the Lions. If Peterson ever wants to win a Super Bowl he will have to go to another team and his window of opportunity to do so is closing fast.

ActTwo:"As fun as Peterson is to watch, he adds little value as far as wins are concerned." I completely agree. I'm a big fan of his but the worst thing the Vikes have done in the last couple of years is give him them insanely huge contract. It tied up too many resources in a position that doesn't provide superbowls. Look at the great teams over the last 15 years. None of them have running games. In fact most of them have pathetic running games. The last great runner to ever win a superbowl? Emmitt Smith. That was the mid 90s. Since then, Green Bay, NE, Pittsburgh, NO, Indy (note: after Edgerin James).

How in the world do you stop giving the ball to your RB when he is over 10 yards per carry and is already close to 200 yards? Answer= Bill Musgrave. I am embarrassed as a Vikings fan of 40+ years! Ponder is no doubt awful the past 3 weeks, but Bill Musgrave has been awful since his first shot at O-coordinator in 2000 when he QUIT after 4 games!! All of this ultimately falls on one man's shoulders, Les Frazier.
