There's a pretty good chance this winter won't be like the last one. So be ready for it.

Don't forget to sign up for Snow Emergency emails, phone calls or texts. If the only thing that you can understand is facebook or twitter, you may have to lower your self to old out dated messaging services or get your car towed and complain that you weren't informed. But then again, if this winter will be like last winter, never mind.

wow, I feel dumb. I checked the Minneapolis Swow Emergency website and saw that they do use the social media to inform the people. So there should be very little excuse for your car getting towed.

How about drivers turn on their headlights when it snows. I have been in near whiteout conditions, and so many with no lights on. Used to be a safety law.
