I remember being stationed in Hawaii in 1968 when the Enterprise was getting ready to go to Viet Nam. They were having bombing practice and one jets got too close to the bombs and blew the ships flight deck up. They took one of the Airwings that was on board and brought them to the Marine base where I was stationed. The landing strip was right on the water and the first 3 planes that tried to land went right into the water. It seems funny today but it was NOT then.
Hopefully the name Enterprise will continue in the Navy.
How will we store the high level nuclear waste from these reactors?
We do not know.
Second star to the right...and straight on 'til morning.
