That's great, but some of these parents need to take a step back and have a look. K-3 traveling sports? Is there really such a thing? I also get a kick from the out of control parents that are so "relieved" because now they won't have to travel for hours so their kids can play spring, summer, and fall sports in the winter. They do sound ridiculous, like someone had a gun to their heads.

Savage City Council members are a complete joke. This dome will never make money and all of the city will pay for it in increased taxes within two years at no choice to them. This was built on pure politics and money in the pocket books for some politicians. The mayor of savage is an old washed up resident that needs to leave the future of the city to others before the city doesn't have one any longer.

My 11year old daughter plays traveling soccer for Burnsville Fire. My 4year old is trying out new things to see what she likes. To have a facility where kids have some place to go in the winter and have physical activity is very nice and convienant. I'm glad to put my kids in something with physical activity versus watching tv or playing video games. Being a Minnesotan and thinking of how long boring and dreadful a long winter can be I think this is a great idea. I'm excited! We've used other sports domes before and they are always packed, always something going on so I can see this being just as popular as other sports domes in the surrounding suburbs.

Nice work savage city council and mayor Williams, the dome is completely dark on day 7. Losing money as speak, I smell increased taxes in our near future. Congrats on wasting our taxpayer money once again.

Let's give it a chance. Taxes here are sky high already, but until we give it a little time I'm not ready to bash this project. Many youth/H.S./college/pro athletes are looking for places to train and practice during the winter months.
