Hadn't seen nor heard from Al in months. Al should come out every once in a while to see what his medical device tax has done thus far to the medical device industry in Minnesota. He said that he's against this anti-business tax but it would be great to get an update from Al on what the do-nothing senate is going to do to fix that. Look for the senate to continue its record of incompetance going into the new session. Only a Romney victory has a chance of uncorking that group.

Al Franken has surprised me by how seriously he takes his job as a senator.

The political B.Show is just too far gone down the wrong road. We have these people elected to rep. us and they do nothing except run around and help their cronny's stay in the hen house

Maybe we Minnesotans should check with the 15 states Al has been visible in and find out what his thoughts are. By lying low in his home state his approval rating skyrockets. Sounds like he has it figured out. If he has something to say do it somewhere else. Keep quiet around home and we will make a career politician out of you.

Franken's wife Fran should be elected to public office. This girl understands both politics and the needs of citizens. They might present a dynamic duo!

Thank you Senator Franken for saving taxpayers over $1 Billion this year with more savings in future years. We, the taxpayers, thank you.

Remember the old saying...'If you want to live like a Republican then vote Democrat.' Sure, Democrats spend money but you need to spend money to make money. Republican make money out of cons and shaky financial deals.

I agree with previous posters that Al has been invisible. You see Amy K doing local things but Al? I guess this article explains where he has been, out stumping for other states. When are we going to learn our lesson on "celebrity" politicians? At least Jessie V was visible.
