Thanks to excellent play from reserves, the Wolves built a big lead and came back after giving it away.

A nice win without our stars...but need to hit those 3's...especially at home....go defense and bench play though

2 for 17 in three-point shooting? 2 for 17??? Yipes! I thought in the offseason we were going to get some shooters. Oh, they must have meant free-throw shooters. Yeah, that's the ticket.

It was great to win the season opener. I know it's just one game...but the bench outplayed the starters on both ends of the floor. Great defense by Greg Stiemsa, Dante Cunningham rebounded well and J.J. Barea was the offensive star and moved the ball well. Great overall spark was provided by the bench players, who really helped to win the game. I'm hoping for better things from the starting five on Sunday in Toronto! Go Twolves! :-)

Nice to see the scoring spread pretty evenly over nine players. But not much from beyond, eh?

I hope JJ could be changed to a team that could appreciate him more, like LA or Dallas...

The one and only stat that matters from one who was there is 80 points given up on defense. If you take away a nine minute stretch from the last four minutes of the second quarter until the middle of the third quarter when Sacramento has a 34-11 run (almost all with Ridnour on the floor and Barea on the bench), the boys led 81-46. Defense rules. Over and out.

If they can shoot 2-17 from behind the arc and still win by 12 they must be doing something right. Go palefaces!
