A big club in the former Karma space is mixing its drinks with Donkey Kong, Mario and a vast library of video games.

Great. But who in their right mind is going to go into high crime, high violence downtown Minneapolis at night to play video games? I sure won't.

I would, because it's really not that scary to walk downtown at night, especially when you're surrounded by tens of thousands of people. If crowds of people having a good time scares you it probably wouldn't matter where Insert Coins was located.
