Kluwe just needs to shut up with all the social commentary and pompous, crude opinion statements.......and instead focus on his flippin' job. If did my job as poorly as he has done his and then shot off my big mouth in a devisive way, I would be fired. Maybe he should be fired as well. He is not above reproach just because he plays football.

Yeah -- Kluwe has been too busy fantasizing about being a "talking head" on MSNBC and not spending enough time worrying about his day job!

At first blush I was going to say this must be motivated by Kluwe's political views. But since Zygi gave $28,000 to support Obama in 2008, shows what I know. http://www.newsmeat.com/sports_political_donations/Zygmunt_Wilf.php

If it were the off-season, Kluwe's political activities would be fine, I suppose. But, during the season, it seems like it has only served to take his mind away from where it should be: Football.

Won't matter much longer, given the youth movement and his performance there is little possibility he will be here next year. I'd bet the scouts are hard at work looking for college punters. Team is full of 22-27 year old kids, only a couple 30+ guys left. Winfield, Williams, Kluwe, and Loeffler. Adios

Sid, just heard you say on WCCO radio that Kluwe LOST THE GAME for us against the Bucs. ARE YOU SERIOUS. You have lost all credibility. Kluwe was a small piece. Does Kluwe pass, tackle, stop the run, call the plays. Why are you blaming Kluwe for the Vikings loss?

Kluwe is a perfect example of a dumb jock who is a distraction to his team. Nobody cares what his opinion is on social issues. However, if he keeps opening is mouth without producing on the field, unemployment is in his future.

For all of you bashing Kluwe, he is a person first, a punter second, and all citizens are allowed to speak their opinion just as you apparent yes to the marriage ammendment are doing here, but look how well marriage has worked for Liz taylor and larry King among others who have had multiple marriages.
