It's more like a scrimmage that fans paid to watch. We spanked them sideways and our two question marks did a little to get back in the swing of things. Nice W. Now let's play someone for real and start the beat down.

Where was Saul Smith? Isn't that a familiar face?

Now on to Tubby's D1 cupcake schedule, of which they'll go 9-2 and will coast into the Big 10 tournament on fumes. Thus, securing that coveted NIT bid!

I know they spread the minutes but ONE guy goes double digits..........against Mankato?

Tough to make any judgments last night due to the level of opposition. Kinda like watching the FB team against New Hampshire. We'll know a lot more after the Bahamas tourney. Go Gophs.

@rainyroo have you looked at the nonconference schedule yet? Sure there are some cupcakes, but Tennessee State, Richmond, Duke, Memphis/VCU and Florida State are not cake walk teams. Sure some of those should be automatic W's but it isn't going to be that easy.

Another mediocre season and a great NIT run. ZZZZZZZZZ. How much longer do we have to put up with the overpaid Tubby Smith??.

"I know they spread the minutes but ONE guy goes double digits..........against Mankato?"---Yes. When only two players play more than 20 minutes (and none more than 25), that's what happens. The idea is to get some minutes for all the players, not to run up the score on a lesser opponent.
