Dempster rhymes with dumpster and that's not good. Lohse will price himself out of job. Get Grihnke. He's your ace. And you need an ace...not middle tier pitching...my gosh...whose in your division? Detroit? Ace/Verlander...Chicago/Ace/Peavey...don't you want to compete Terry?

"success on filling holes last year"? what? your team Terry lost 96 games....96! you're delusional if you think you had any success...

Rumor has it that Ryan was spotted having dinner with Rick Reed.

I think the big choice TR has is whether to choose the dumpster outside the main entrance of Target field or one of the side entrances.

They keep saying "we've never done that" "we've never relied on this"... It doesn't matter! If you want to stay competitive you might need to get away from the "Twins Way" (whatever the cuss word that is anyways). Do something big this offseason or watch your season ticket holders cancel even more of their plans. Go and tell that, homeboy.

Everyone is clamoring about what will the Twins do? Look at their track record. They will sign whoever they believe will give the most innings for the least amount of money. Look at the names available over the last 10 years and then look who they signed. They will cheap out. They'll bring Baker back and act like he was the best free agent available that does things the Twins way. Then they'll go out and sign another bottom feeder who has a history of throwing a lot of innings even if his peripheral stats suggest that he's terrible. They absolutely love these Pavano Blackburn types with no upside. They'll keep throwing the pitch to contact guys at us. I really think the Twins front office ab-horrors strikeout pitchers. I hope Target Field has the leagues lowest attendance next season.

The Twins just don't get it. Manager and pitching coach are a problem too along with the "Twins way".

Its just another off season of Ryan kicking around in the Retread Pile. How many pitchers did he bring to camp last year, 25 or so?? How did that work out..? This year 35 or more might be the answer.

Transalation: The "right fit" is any pitcher remaining in the end of january who every team in baseball has passed on and now has become desperate to find a club.
