Shved settles in, stays calm for his NBA debut

Alexey Shved won't turn 24 until next month, but already has played in Olympic basketball games and helped lead his CSKA Moscow team for four league championships. But the Russian rookie guard won't play his first real NBA game until the Timberwolves' season opener Friday against Sacramento.

i saw alexey walking around downtown the other night, wished him good luck this year. he seems like a really nice and humble guy. im looking forward to seeing him play.

it would be nice if you'd list those network stations carrying the Timberwolves. Also, can u help us find the Channel 29 games on dish? Are they there for us upstate viewers?

To me, silly hair-do's are a cry for "attention." You can get away with it, if you live up to your potential, and produce. Laettner, Beasley, please Shved don't get grouped in with that. Non-producers, with SILLY HAIR. Shved, play "your game," improve, learn the NBA, and please get a "make-over..." please
