A map would say 1000 words.

I'm a bicycle commuter and ride most of that route every work day. The shoulders are slightly wider on Fairview. Larpenteur seems about the same (and it's a challenge to cross it to get to Gortner). They did add a sidewalk to Gortner. But why would I want to start or end at Rosedale? The traffic is chaotic and is no safe place to ride a bike. Yeah, they have public transportation, but I could have gotten that from the Saint Paul campus. As a cyclist, I just want to ride home. IMO, this was not well thought out.
