we (Twins) could have used him. As a true catcher I'd love to see him manage with the mask on. Good Luck Mike.

Unless the Marlins get younger, he'll soon be the sixth manager the franchise has gone through in a scant number of seasons.

Over / Under on how many days until his first naked news conference with reporters? Congrats on the job - hopefully he gets a chance.

I'm betting on Red-dog to turn that team around, ala Joe girardi. Twins really missed out on a chance to get a good baseball guy here. We'll see in the coming year I guess! Good luck Mike, you made this team a helluva lot of fun to watch and follow during your time here.

Should have been the Twins new manager in 2014.

Don't have a bad word to say about the guy. He was a true gamer. How many times did he get injured and play through it for the team? Always could tell he was gonna be a good manager. The Twins should have found room for him somewhere in the organisation. No doubt better than half the coaches we have.

Should be the Twins manager? Not one of you bums has said "Mike Redmond should be the Twins manager." NOT ONE. /// /// /// And one more promise: Although I hope Mr. Redmond does well in Miami (except if/when they play the Twins), not one of you will be clamouring for him if he loses in Miami. So smart guys... why don't you show your smarts now and say the NEXT thing the Twins should do and then stand behind your squawk. Jeez... reading bathroom stalls has more reward than reading people waking from their latest hallucination saying Redmond should be here. I'm glad he's in Miami. Good luck Mike.
