Washington County's project wish list comes up for review

The new megabridge will necessitate hundreds of millions of dollars of upgrades along HW 36 in Washington County. It is the gift that keeps on giving. MNDOT, Klobuchar and Haryski have given the metro a new major metro corridor, complete with financing needs and more costly maintenance. And why do we need to provide this corridor for a population in Wisconsin that doesn't even live there yet? Building the megabridge makes that growth possible and requires a huge budgetary commitment from Washington County. Our commissioners need to be held accountable for that decision.
