If big Mo can make it back healthy (knee, ankle) and mesh with Mbakwe and the other 7 footer this team could be scary great! No one in the big ten will have 3 post players who can play at a high level like these 3 can right now. It's exciting to see the bright future for Gopher basketball. We've waited a long, long time anything good has happened on this campus for basketball. The time to win is now, now, now!!!

You have to be cautious and I do hope they stay healthy and mesh as a top team does... but I need to be cautious and realistic based on past deeds. There will most likely be some injuries (hopefully not lengthy absences or serious ones) and this team needs to be consistent (D, attack the basket and hit free throws at a 75% plus average) and be fit or in excellent condition (stamina). If they are with even a few bumps and bruises, they should be in the top 5 of the B1G. My heart and mind tell me they will end up 6th or 7th and barely make it into the NCAAs.

I am jazzed to see Mo in the paint again. I remember what he looked like 2 years ago before getting hurt...it will be fun! Tubby's challenge to work the chemistry to ensure all the parts are working in harmony.

If they can get 12 to 15 mins. a game from him to start with that will surely be a plus. The key to a good season is of course injurys and Tubby can't be sending in whole different lineups like he did last year and expect to win in this conference. Top Ten teams only go 7 and 8 deep.

No matter how effective Mo is, he has to be better than Ralphie boy.
