Frazier's not seeing the same quarterback I am. He's not confident and doesn't get the ball down field....I don't care if they don't have a deep threat...throw it down there....20 yards atleast. This kid isn't it.

Their is no way the vikings are going to get to 9 wins this season and thus will not be making the playoffs. The ONLY reason this 7-9 caliber club was even able to win 5 of 8 games thus far is because of their easy first half schedule with loser teams like the Jags, Cards, Colts, Titans and Lions. It will now be time to pay the piper because looming in the future are playoff caliber teams like the Bears and Packers twice each along with Houston and Seattle on the road. Anyone that thought this vikings club was for real was drinking too much purple kool-aid being served up (again) by Winter Park.

It's going to be UGLY for the vikqueen...This is not a football team at this point in time. They will go through the motions in the 2nd half of the season. There will be some injuries. At the end of the season, the free agents will most likely want to bolt to real football teams... Will the local columnists examine the problems with the players and the coaches? ; 0 )

No doubt this over-hyped vikings club will finish 6-10 and probably tie the Lions for last place in the NFC North Division. Only one "creampuff" left on their schedule which will be against the Rams on the road. You can chalk up 6 losses for sure down the stretch - two losses against the Bears, two losses against the Packers, 1 loss against the Seahawks and another loss against the Texans. The one game remaining against the Lions is a coin flip, niether the purple nor the Lions will be going to the playoffs, they will have to battle it out for last place in the Division. Looks like the early hype that was being dished out by Winter Park, KFAN and the Strib that was soley designed to sell more advertising and tickets to games failed miserably once again. Oh well, they will be ready to dish out the same swill next year.

"He's (Sidney Rice) playing very well for them," Frazier said. "We'll have our hands full trying to defend him." We need to try something new and innovative to stop him. Hey, how about the Tampa 2 where he can run a crossing route and we get to have a linebacker cover him when he gets to the middle!

Hartman, I agree with you on one thing in this whole article, that Ponder has not got the protection he needs to have the time to throw the ball down field. After you stated that, you dropped that topic like a hot potato. Why? Defensive coordinators around the league know the vikings offense is predictable and trendy. In the old days, we used to "out execute" you but that cannot be done in the NFL anymore. Defenses no stack the deck against Peterson on first and second down and dare you to beat them on a pass play. Run blitzes are common and let me know when the vikings get a screen pass in their playbook.

Long live Sid Hartman! I may not always agree with you,but I love your unbending love of the Gophers! To bad more people in this state don't feel the same as you instead of 'worrying' about a team owner that threaten to move if we didn't built him a new playpen.Sid It wouldn't be the same without you! I hope you live forever!

The Gophers and Vikings have ZERO chance this weekend. Michigan might as well leave the Jug in Ann Arbor and the Vikings will get blown out . It's hard to win without a QB or head coach.

Frazier was briefly named an Mid-season coach of the year, on the ESPN Mike and Mike show. All the Frazier haters are local disgruntled Vikings fans. Get real you clowns, we have a coach! This team was suppose to be dead last in the NFC this year! Frazier has done a nice job with this roster. He's not the best coach, but far from the worst too. Also-Kalil was mentioned as rookie of the year after RGIII. Kalil has been rock solid so far. Some people saying the Vikings have no QB? I have nothing to argue there. We have the second coming of JP Losman or Trent Dilfer. Take your pick.
