What about Shved (sp)? Is he a bench warmer or expected to play more at shooting gaurd? Barea and Ridnour don't inspire much confidence.

Williams not the starter at powerforward is suprising. Thought he looked pretty good during summer league and preseason. Wonder why coach doesn't seem to want to start him with Love being injured. Hopefully he will get big minutes off the bench and prove to coach A that he can contribute.

Williams over AK at SF ? Nope. Not yet.

Williams won't be over anyone. I think you'll find Williams playing insignificant minutes in Adelman's rotation. He just doesn't like his game and it will bare out by the minutes he puts him on the floor. I think you'll see Cunningham start, AK at PF and Budinger at SF as the teams 2nd option, and DWilliams as the 3rd option. It's pretty clear he likes the first two options much better and that's what he's going to rely on.

Williams will get his chances. Just not as the starter I think. Better to start AK and Cunningham together for defensive purposes. Let Pek and Roy carry the scoring load for the starters.

Willy 53, I agree with you regarding Barea and Ridnour, especially Ridnour, as he can't penetrate and dish, one of the most fundamental aspects of the position. Plus, Ridnour appears to be damaged goods at this point in his career. He plays hard and is scrappy, which I admire, but that's not enough in my book.
