Injuries had frustrated Michael Carter -- and the defensive back's attitude and poor grades had frustrated his coaches.

Shown great cover skills today, 6 PBUs and a pick 6. I am glad for him and it was nice to see a Gophers' DB play the type of aggressive defense in coverage. Too bad he doesn't have another year of eligibility. Keep up your high level of play Mr. Carter!
